Alex Wenman: Alex is an innovative campaign strategist with a proven record of helping Democratic campaigns and causes win tough races up and down the ballot through disciplined planning, compelling storytelling, and data-informed decision-making. He has built and led high-performing campaign operations across Washington State, guiding candidates through competitive primaries, high-pressure general elections, and complex political landscapes.

In 2025, Alex directed the fundraising and strategic planning for Seattle mayoral candidate Katie Wilson, powering one of the most remarkable underdog victories in the city’s recent history. He built the campaign’s finance program, crafted persuasive messaging that broadened Wilson’s coalition, and ensured the team had the structure and momentum needed to win in a crowded field.

Alex previously served as Senior Campaign Manager for the Washington House Democratic Campaign Committee, where he supported eight targeted legislative races with strategic planning, staff training, message development, and field targeting. His work contributed to Washington Democrats achieving a supermajority in both the State House and Senate, a dramatic shift from the minority position the party held when he began managing legislative campaigns in 2018.

Earlier in his career, Alex drove key wins for local, state legislative, and congressional campaigns by rapidly scaling field operations and fundraising programs, including defending Senator Emily Randall’s seat in a Republican-leaning district despite more than two million dollars in opposition spending.

His experience growing campaigns from the ground up and delivering strong fundraising performance shapes his commitment to creating systems that empower candidates, expand their reach, and position them for big electoral wins.
